While the support is adequate, the Naturepedic Verse does offer a firmer support and will provide more long-term usability. The 2-in-1 mattress combines waterproof and quilted sides. The waterproof side can add some extra protection for accidents, but it is not nearly as comfortable as the quilted side (especially for snuggling parents). Plus, SLEEP365 always recommends to use of a waterproof mattress protector which you'll certainly need when using the quilted side of the mattress anyway, so the waterproof side may or may not be a benefit to your family. Also, the 2-in-1 is for short-term use while the Verse has more long-term use potential. The Verse features an upgraded individually encased coil system that is more supportive for growing, older, heavier kids. For parents who wish to co-sleep or snuggle their kids, the Verse is a much better option. The 2-in-1 does have a lower profile than the Verse though, so it may be a better option for bunk beds and trundles depending on your specific furniture dimensions/requirements.

What is a trundle mattress?
A trundle mattress is a lower profile mattress for use on a trundle. The 2-in-1 Organic Kids Trundle Mattress is only 6" tall, which is appropriate for most trundles. Be sure to verify the length of your specific trundle to see if it will take a standard 75" length twin mattress. Some trundles require a 71" mattress which is an available option in the 2-in-1 Organic Kids Mattress.
Is the 2-in-1 Organic Kids Mattress safe for a bunk bed?
Yes! The 2-in-1 Organic Kids Mattress has a lower profile and is well-suited for use on bunk beds. Be sure to verify the recommended mattress height from the furniture manufacturer to ensure the mattress will not be too tall for safe use on your bunk bed.
